Here are the Development Permits (DP) and Leases and Licenses of Occupation (LOC) presented at the Community General Meeting on March 10th by Glen K of the Inner City Planning and Heritage Committee Discussed were: 1)DP2025-00710, 1428 16A Street SE

  • Proposal: New garage connecting to house

Motion: Approved

2)DP2025-00678, 1412 10 Avenue SE

  • Proposal: New Single Detached Dwelling, Backyard Suite (garage), Accessory Residential Building (garage)

  • Motion: Approved

3)LOC2024-0223, 1511 8 Avenue SE

  • Proposal: Land-Use Amendment

  • Opposed based on MDP and ARP arguments. File already submitted due to filing deadline.

4)DP2024-05493, 45 New Street SE

  • Proposal: New Development Permit was issued Feb 27 for 6 Dwelling Units (2 buildings)

    and Accessory Residential Building (mobility storage lockers)

  • Motion: If and when appeal to the Calgary Subdivision and Development Board (SDAB) is initiated provide a letter of support on the same basis as our original objections, ie contravention of the MDP and ARP.
