ICA Role Vacancy: Secretary

The ICA Board of Directors is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join as the Board Secretary. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the governance and administration of our organization, in addition to supporting our vibrant community.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that agendas and meeting minutes are prepared for the monthly Board and General Meetings.

  • Ensure that ICA Meetings and AGM are scheduled and organized.

  • Ensure that minutes are captured at monthly Board and General Meetings and distributed accordingly.

  • Ensure that Board contact list and meeting calendar are maintained.

  • Act as a signing officer in the absence of the President or Treasurer.


Qualifications:

  • Be a member in good standing of the Inglewood Community Association

  • Committed to abiding by the bylaws, code of conduct, and other policies that apply to the ICA

  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity

  • Familiarity with governance or board operations is an asset but not required


This is a volunteer position with a time commitment of approximately 6-10 hours per month.
