The ICA Board of Directors is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join as the Board Secretary. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the governance and administration of our organization, in addition to supporting our vibrant community.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that agendas and meeting minutes are prepared for the monthly Board and General Meetings.
Ensure that ICA Meetings and AGM are scheduled and organized.
Ensure that minutes are captured at monthly Board and General Meetings and distributed accordingly.
Ensure that Board contact list and meeting calendar are maintained.
Act as a signing officer in the absence of the President or Treasurer.
Qualifications:
Be a member in good standing of the Inglewood Community Association
Committed to abiding by the bylaws, code of conduct, and other policies that apply to the ICA
Excellent organizational and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Proficiency in written and verbal communication
Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
Familiarity with governance or board operations is an asset but not required
This is a volunteer position with a time commitment of approximately 6-10 hours per month.
