Employment Opportunities

The Inglewood Community Association is currently seeking candidates for the following:

There are no employment opportunities at this time. Please check back in the future.

We Love Volunteers!

Our community members volunteer for ICA events for various reasons - to meet neighbours, apply skills and give back to the community. As a volunteer-run association, we rely on our dedicated volunteers to keep the ICA moving forward.

At the ICA, our Volunteer Program strives to put your skills to use and to provide meaningful volunteering opportunities. If you have skills outside of what is advertised below, please contact our Volunteer Director at volunteers@icacalgary.com - it would be our pleasure to match you with an opportunity best suited to your strengths.

The ICA has a 12 member board (plus additional Directors-at-Large) that renews every September at our AGM. Please contact us if you are interested in running for a Board Position.

We are seeking a Layout Editor for our monthly newsletter.

The Inglewood Community Association's newsletter has been produced since 1977, entirely by volunteers, so we are looking for a dedicated and community-minded individual to join the team.

If you are familiar with design layout using Mac InDesign (or similar software), and would like to add some volunteer experience to your resume, we would love to hear from you! Training will be provided.

Job Description:  Lay out content and graphics for the ICA's monthly newsletter, working closely with the Newsletter Editor, Ad Manager and Copy Editor as a member of the Newsletter Production Team.

Send the final proof to the printer by the designated deadline each month.

Commitment:  approx. 10 hours/month from the 15th to the 20th of each month.
Work from home. Occasional team meetings.

Contact volunteers@icacalgary.com to express interest or register for this position and we will contact you!

The ICA is looking for a dedicated volunteer to fill the following role:

    • Webmaster

The commitment for this role involves periodic (approximately twice per week):

    • Update of news and events through our website and Facebook page
    • Management of the ICA email domain
    • Creation of event promos using an existing graphics template
The role is not a board member position, and will not require a lot of time - just enthusiasm! Our site management system is not complicated, but obviously IT experience is an asset. Taking on this position would involve a complete handover session with our current Webmaster, which would take about 1 hour.

If you're detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills, please express interest to volunteers@icacalgary.com or register for this position and we will contact you!
