Nellie Breen Park


A cherished spot in Inglewood, this new (2008) playground features a rubber surface (no sand), a beautiful mosaic gazebo, Adirondack chairs and picnic tables. Popular with kids of all ages. Award-winning (see video here).

Colonel Walker School

Colonel Walker Playground


Completed in the fall of 2013, it’s unique in all of Canada and is a highlight of the community. Amazing parent volunteers brought this dream playground to life!

Quiet Street

Quiet Street Park


Located on a quiet backstreet, this is a nice shady playground and green space for the kids to run.

Pearce Estates Park

Pearce Estates park


Located next to the fish hatchery and surrounded by a huge park, Pearce Estate includes swings, a slide and other playground amenities. It also includes picnic tables, barbecue grills and seasonal washrooms.

Alexandra Centre

Alexandra Centre


The Alexandra Centre has a huge playground with equipment suitable especially for young kids. It may be busy during weekdays as it’s used by the daycare.

Inglewood Community Hall

ICA Hall Playground


Located adjacent to the community hall, this older playground has access to washrooms when the hall or skate shack is open. Scheduled for replacement Summer 2016!

Mills Park

Main Street Park


This playground is currently closed due to construction in the adjoining lot. However, the green space with trees and benches is still available for public use. In May 2016, The City of Calgary held a public engagement session to encourage feedback on the design of a new and unique natural play space. To be redeveloped as a natural play space in 2016 - read more here.
