About Us

The Inglewood Community Association

Inglewood is Calgary's oldest neighbourhood, having been established adjacent to Fort Calgary in 1875. Home of 9 Avenue Southeast, the city of Calgary’s first authentic main street, Inglewood boasts an impressive mix of business, culture, natural escapes, and residential areas.

Representing Inglewood since 1956, the Inglewood Community Association (ICA) offers a variety of programs and services for residents. Taking direction from community meetings and votes, the Association is governed and operated by a volunteer Board of Directors, resident volunteers, and community association staff who strive to reflect and respond to community needs.

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 5 & 6), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
